Industrial excellence

Ambition, courage, trust and the desire to move forward together: these were the values Gilbert Degrémont instilled in the business he began in 1939. Over the years, Degrémont has kept on reinventing itself, while also remaining true to this way of thinking. By anticipating customers’ expectations and embracing innovation, whilst also controlling costs, Degrement is going back to basics in order to maintain the highest standard of industrial excellence.

Being responsive to customers all over the world

With a presence in 70 countries, Degrement is a global organisation. But what is the real success of this internationalisation? A capacity to offer its customers solutions that are ever more innovative and to support them in the long term, in a spirit of partnership and of sharing experience. How? By putting its faith in organisations really dedicated to each new project, ranging from sharing the Group’s resources in terms of expertise to setting up local team networks.

Continuous improvement

Degrémont has a commitment to real social responsibility. Continuous improvement is a principle that has been established since the start of the 1990s and has been formalised under the OMEGA label since 2004. It is a system of management by process and covers all the Company’s disciplines and activities, ensuring consistency of practices, and enabling all members of staff to work in the most efficient conditions with the same rigour. The aim: complete satisfaction for every customer, with the highest performance index.

The culture of innovation

Degrémont is the owner of 500 patented technologies, which are the basis of its leadership of the markets for drinking water production, wastewater treatment and its reuse, including desalination. Nowadays, innovation goes beyond technical frontiers and Degrémont’s teams work according to three key lines of development: strengthening health safety, conserving fresh water and energy resources, and protecting the environment and quality of life.
