Drinking Water production - Specific processes

Certain processes are specifically designed to remove unwanted elements such as iron, manganese, ammonium, fluorides, arsenic, pesticides, nitrates and heavy metals. These processes can be carried out at a facility or in metal package units using Ferazur Mangazur technology that simultaneously reduces iron, manganese and arsenic.

Because of the poor quality of raw water, dissolved organic matter and micro-pollutants must be thoroughly removed. This requires performing clarification under optimal conditions, such as oxidation by ozone or by introducing additional steps, for instance adsorption on activated carbon using a Pulsazur lamellar clarifier.
